PASADENA VENDORS — YES, YOU NEED THE BUSINESS LICENSE 😭

We promise we are not asking y’all to get a Pasadena Business License just for fun. It is required for our Pasadena events.

If you saw how hard we advocated for our vendors in 2025, you know we have tried to make selling in Pasadena as affordable as possible. We literally cut our vendor booth fees by $30 to help offset the additional costs of vending in the city.

At the end of the day, we have to follow the City of Pasadena’s requirements in order to continue hosting our markets here. We do not want our event or our vendors running into compliance issues because required licenses were skipped.

We also want to clarify that while you may attend other markets in Pasadena where requirements are handled differently, our market has to operate according to the requirements given to us. We are an independent small business — we are not a massive market with 100K+ followers, nor are we connected to the City. We simply have to comply with the requirements that allow us to continue operating here.

So yes: if we gotta do the paperwork, y’all gotta do the paperwork too 😭

This requirement is for PASADENA EVENTS ONLY. It does not automatically apply to our events in other cities.

Honestly, it’s super simple hehe. Just apply for the event you want through our link or our new website and follow the steps! Everything is pretty straightforward, including choosing your event and the options for selling with us.

IMPORTANT THO 🚨: We will NEVER reach out to you from another Instagram page or randomly email you asking for payment. The ONLY account communicating with vendors is @1042flea on Instagram with the verified checkmark.

While we’re flattered that people wanna pretend to be us 😭 we do NOT like scammers. If it’s not the verified @1042flea account, it’s not us.

Maybe it’s because our CEO is literally always there — either saying hi, talking WAYYYY too much, running around making sure everything is logistically set, or somehow doing all three at once.

We also don’t really do crazy themes or make every market feel like some huge production. We want new vendors, returning vendors, shoppers, friends, whoeverrrr to pull up because it’s genuinely just a cool space to hang out. You can shop, sell, meet people, yap for three hours, grab food nearby, and make a day out of it.

I think our mentality has always been: we wouldn’t go to an event that doesn’t look cool, so why would we expect you to?

We’re in our early 20s, we’re chronically online, we hop on the trends, we know what looks cute — but we’re also kinda your friendly neighborhood flea market iykwim 😭

Not too corporate. Not too serious. Just good vendors, cool spaces, and people we actually want to hang out with. ⭐️

YO — first things first: absolutely NO food y’all 😭 No cookies, no matcha, no lemonade, no candy, no cupcakes, no nun of thatttt. Food comes with health inspectors + extra licensing on your end and respectfully… we are not trynna do all that 😭

We DO accept vintage, clothes, trinkets, art, jewelry, accessories, handmade goods, collectibles, home decor & all the cute/random/cool stuff you’d actually wanna find at a flea. ⭐️

On occasion, we also accept tooth gem artists and piercers, but ONLY for select indoor markets and additional requirements may apply.

Basically, if people can wear it, collect it, hang it, gift it, or impulsively buy it because it’s cute — APPLYYYY.

If they can eat or drink it? No pookie. 🫶

Ya know what, I actually asked Tony about this and his answer was: “Somehow everything always works out.” 😭 And honestly… I think that sums us up perfectly.

But to be cleaaaar — our vendors are not our workers. We’re collaboratively working together to create a community and a space people actually want to be in.

My job is to bring the attention, the people, and the opportunity to y’all. Your job is to put yourself out there and show people what you can do — whether that’s curating the cutest vintage, finding insane clothing pieces, making handmade goods, creating art, jewelry, or whatever your thing is.

At the end of the day, YOU’RE the boss. I’m merely the promoter 😭 I can bring people through the doors, but what you do with that opportunity is completely yours.
